While Basil the Donkey is galavanting across the globe with the Fawlty Towers DVD Collection in-hand, the genius behind Fawlty Towers, John Cleese, is actually in Montreal at the Just For Laughs Festival.

Mr. Cleese is doing a couple of galas and a Q&A session with fans. I’m sure it’ll be hysterical. I don’t have tickets…*sniff sniff*

You’d think Basil the Donkey would have purchased some for me, since I’m bankrolling his travels, but oh no! I suppose one shouldn’t expect much from a donkey…and he does write great code…

If you’ve ever had the chance to see John Cleese live then you’re lucky. He’s a funny, funny man. Perhaps someday, after Where Is Basil? catches on and the Fawlty Towers DVD Collection has navigated the globe several times, I’ll pitch the man on an interview for the site. I’d think it’d be rather fun. Maybe, he’ll sign-up to join the community and have someone send him the Fawlty Towers DVD Collection…that’d be even funnier!
