Jason Bagley is the first person from Africa to join the list! I’m ecstatic and so is Basil.

He heard about Where Is Basil? from WorkBoxers: So where is Basil… (thanks for the link Jamsi!)

Jason’s in Cape Town, South Africa to be precise. He’s a software developer there, so he and Basil should have plenty to talk about.

His blog is, as he puts it, “…his playground, where he like to chat about South Africa, marketing, internet musings, design, sport and whatever makes him tick.”

I know Basil’s going to have an amazing time there. He’s always wanted to go on a safari and check out “his peeps” as he calls them. (Basil has a “zebra complex” cause they’ve got “cool stripes.” Don’t ask.)

Basil’s going to have a heck of a trip from Jonathan Dean’s place in Middleton, Ohio, so he’ll pack some peanuts, barley and gin for the long flight.
