Jason Bean Uncovers Where Is Basil, and the Donkey’s Headed to Indianapolis

Mr. Bean could be called Mr. Blogger cause the man’s a blogging machine.

I discovered Jason’s blogging talents at Uncover the Internet which he recently took over from the previous author. The blog is mostly about quirky, fun sites, blogs and web-based applications. Jason will uncover the humorous, quirky and useful stuff that’s out there…and there’s a lot of great stuff out there.

Uncover the Internet is part of the b5media blog empire. What you’ll quickly discover with the list of blogs below is that they’re all a part of b5media except for Jason’s personal blog. Does that make Jason the most prolific b5media blogger? I don’t know, but I’m curious.

  • Bnpositive’s Blog - This is his personal blog. You can tell immediately that Jason has a good sense of humor — just look closely at the pictures at the top of this blog. Jason — where’s that DUMFART picture from?
  • Office 12 Watch is all about the upcoming Microsoft Office release.
  • The Unauthorized Microsoft Weblog is all about Microsoft in general.
  • Emerging Earth (cool name!) is about emerging technologies. I haven’t read it in-depth, but I suspect it’s more than just about emerging technologies, but also about how those technologies are changing things for us.
  • Idol Stalker — At first I thought, “Why is Jason writing a blog about me?” But then I realized he meant American Idol. Duh. I haven’t watched American Idol (or its northern cousin Canadian Idol) in some time, but both shows remain insanely popular.
  • Christian Music Fan is all about Christian music; news and reviews.

And where does Jason spend all his time blogging?

Indianapolis, Indiana of course!

Here are some sites for Basil to check out before getting to Indy:

* Indianapolis Downtown

* Indy.org

* Indianapolis Motor Speedway

Basil’s never been to any form of car racing event, so if there’s one going on in Indy while he’s there that’d be amazing fun! I know Basil’s a big NFL fan too, so I wonder if their season or pre-season will have started by the time Basil makes his way to Indy…I bet that’ll be the case.

And it looks like there’s tons for him to do, so I know he’ll be excited about the opportunity.

Jason — thanks for signing up and being a part of this little project.

    We certainly love having Jason around, but he isn’t the most prolific. He’s the cuddliest, just not the most prolific - yet ;-)

  2. Ben Says:

    Jeremy…thanks for stopping by!

    So who is the most prolific b5.media blogger?

    And how come you haven’t signed up to receive Basil the donkey? Come on! *laugh*

    And it makes me wonder what Jason thinks about being called the “cuddliest” … Jason?

  3. Jeremy Wright Says:

    Arieanna Foley is our most prolific, I believe. Jason’s certainly up there :)

    Also, for reference, it’s “b5media” :)

    Have a good one!

    ps: sorry, I’m not a donkey kind of guy, really more into ferrets ;-)

  4. Ben Says:

    I’ll have to look Arieanna up to see how many blogs she writes.

    Sorry about writing it incorrectly — I was basing it off your logo at http://www.b5media.com. It has a . between b5 and media. But I do see the name elsewhere as ‘b5media’ … so I’ll make the change immediately.

    Ferrets? Fair enough. They won’t keep you as warm at night, but to each his own! I’d never disparage an animal lover…thanks for stopping by Jeremy.
