Blame Canada! Blame Canada!

A couple of weeks ago I posted about Susan Reynolds joining the list.

I was very excited. Susan Reynolds is a great artist and accomplished blogger. In my haste I wrote that she lives in Vermont when really she lives in Virginia.

VA does not equal Vermont, Ben. Oy. VT is the abbreviation for Vermont. I chalk it up to being from Canada and getting the abbreviations confused sometimes. Ya, that’s it…

I’m thoroughly embarassed, but it was an honest mistake.

Anyway, Susan’s from Sterling, Virginia which appears to be a suburb of Washington, DC.
And apparently, there’s another famous Basil living in Sterling, Virginia — the comedian Basil White. Susan, does he still live there? Maybe Basil and Basil will commiserate a bit.

I couldn’t find many great pictures of Sterling, so hopefully Basil can take some when he’s there!

Basil may be a touch disappointed that he’s not en route to visit the Ben & Jerry’s factory in Vermont, but I’m sure someone from Vermont will sign up soon. And, I know for sure that Basil’s going to love spending time with Susan; there’s rumors of a Flat Basil project and other artistic endeavors that are certainly going to feed Basil’s ego.

Thanks for clarifying things Susan — I’m glad I didn’t send Basil to Vermont to sit there by the side of the road waiting for someone to pick him up!

Oh and the map has been updated to reflect Susan moving from Vermont to Virginia…
