Hee Haw! Basil’s Going to Dallas!

Dallas, Texas here comes Basil!

Thanks to Paul McEnany joining the list, Basil’s going to have a chance to visit the great state of Texas. Dallas was founded in 1841…did you know that?

Paul McEnany has a great blog about marketing. It’s called Hee-Haw Marketing.

Paul’s got a very distinct voice, which is immediately evident by the tagline on his blog, “the intersection between marketing speak and pure bullshit.”

When you talk about marketing, no nonsense sounds good to me. Cut through the “blah blah blah” and get to the point. Paul does a great job of that.

So…Dallas…the Longhorn State.

Apparently, people from Dallas are called Dallasites. I would prefer “Dallasonians” myself.

One of the biggest events is the State Fair of Texas which usually begins in late September and runs into October. I don’t think Basil will be there in time, but I’m sure Paul will find plenty for Basil to do.

    Basil’s up for a Texas-style treat! Although, I don’t think introducing the Cowboy cheerleaders to my Donkey friend Basil will go over too well. Just a guess… :)

    Come on Paul! Cheerleaders a code-writing donkey…seems like a natural fit…at least that’s what Basil will tell you.

    But you’re probably right, I don’t know if cheerleaders and donkeys mix.
