Maria Palma Invites Basil to San Diego!

Maria Palma might be as prolific a blogger as Jason Bean.

Far as I can tell, Maria has 9 blogs! And the subject matter ranges incredibly. You can see the entire list at her website: Salon de Maria.

I first “met” Maria through her amazing customer service-related blog CustomersAreAlways. I’ve been reading it and commenting there for months.

When a “Maria Palma” signed up here I didn’t make the connection because she gave me the URL to her main site. When you visit that site you realize Maria is an artist; painting, drawing, jewelry, etc. An artist that’s also an expert in customer service? What an interesting combination!

I made the connection shortly thereafter, and I’m very happy to have Maria onboard.

Plus, Basil’s never been to the West Coast of the United States, and I hear San Diego is beautiful. I’ve been to California a few times, but mostly to Los Angeles, so I look forward to lots of news from Basil and Maria while he’s there.

I know Basil will want to visit the zoo. I’m sure everyone that goes to San Diego wants to visit the zoo. Hopefully he doesn’t rile up the animals into some form of mutiny; I’m sure they’re treated well and they’ll ignore Basil’s cries of, “Freedom or nachos!” (which as you can readily see, makes no sense anyway.)

On a side note, the zoo’s website is very extensive. They’ve even got a bunch of blogs! Go zoo!

Cool! San Diego has a LEGOLAND! You can be sure Basil will want to check that out.

Here are some other sites that will probably interest the traveling donkey:

* SeaWorld San Diego (which I think is owned/sponsored by Anheuser Busch…hhmmm…)

* Gaslamp Quarter

* Mount Soledad

There’s no shortage of stuff to see and do in San Diego — I’m sure Maria and Basil will have an amazing time!

Thank you Maria, for being part of this project…

    Phil,

    Thank you so much for letting me be part of Basil’s greatest adventures! Look forward to showing him around :)

  2. Ben Says:

    Maria just emailed me realizing she called me Phil and not Ben.

    That’s ok. I don’t mind. I know it was an honest mistake - you’re probably updating all 9 of your blogs simultaneously as we speak!
