Tammy Ames is a super stay-at-home entrepreneur mom. Once a registered nurse, she’s now a student of online marketing and relationship networking. When I asked her for a bio, one sentence really stood out, “I find cool things created by other people and spread the news.”
Sounds pretty cool to me.

Tammy concluded her profile info for me with this, “My newsletter and blogs are geared to helping people cross over into successful online business without resorting to scams or chasing the fast buck…”
Tammy’s bursting with enthusiasm and when she originally signed up for the Where Is Basil project she wrote, “I can be Guest Blogger, PR person for Basil, Talent Scout for Basil…whatever works for him!”
You just KNOW that’s going to go to Basil’s head. I’m sure we’ll hear from Basil soon and he’ll say, “Talk to my agent, bud, I’m busy.”
Basil, don’t let those boots get too big for those donkey feet of yours!
Tammy lives in Augusta, Maine and this will be Basil’s first visit to the state. August is the capital city, but it’s quite small, with app. 20,000 people. Think Basil can meet all of them?
I also found a link to The Pine Tree State Arboretum which looks like a lovely place. Basil should feel right at home there.
Augusta looks beautiful and I know Tammy will show Basil and all of us a great time!

Oh, my ~ Basil is going to have an absolutely love the Arboretum! We will all go on an adventure there and take pictures ~ I’m so excited! Now, off to clean the spare bedroom and pick some pears from our tree for his midnight snack!
and in the meantime I’m getting on the phone to rally the local troops for a welcome party!

PS it’s sunny and cool today! Hundreds of bikers keep going by the house today with toys (big and small) strapped to their motorcycles for the United Bikers of Maine Toys for Tots campaign.

Basil will appreciate the effort though…I bet he’ll be zonked from all the traveling by the time he gets to Maine.
