Ben, the answer is NO. They have no response from Belarus yet.???

Joe - very strange. The fellow in Belarus did email me and told me the DVDs were there - now he needs a mailing address to send them.
Hopefully Bob or Susan email me soon. If not, I’ll go to the next person on the list till I find someone still interested in this little community.
And if the DVDs don’t show up in a few week’s time after that, I’ll buy new ones and that’ll be that!
We’ll get Basil home one way or another!

I actually think the personal touches that were sent along are more important than the DVD’s.
That’s where the real connection is, we all find out just a little bit more about our blogging friends, how and where they live, what they do etc.
The DVD’s are only the catalyst.

I agree 100% Joe. If we lose those personal touches it would suck. So hopefully Eugene pulls through for us and sends the package to Bob LeDrew. Bob did contact me; he’s still interested, so it’s now a question of whether Eugene delivers the goods!
I was just wondering what happened to Basil! I’m still keen to show Basil around Cape Town. I’m sure he’ll enjoy the sunny beaches and the hot ladies.

Basil got detoured for a very long time in Belarus. My hope is he makes his way back and heads to Ottawa to hang out with Bob LeDrew, the next person on the list.
