Benjamin Yoskovitz is the man behind-the-scenes. In fact, Ben’s really Basil the Donkey’s employer. Ben pays Basil with carrots, and provides decent room and board in the wilds of Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Ben has been working on the Internet scene for over 10 years, in web development, software development and a few crazy side projects (such as this one!)

In April 2006, Ben (along with his father and a couple other troublemakers) started an online business called IGotNewsForYou. That business led to meeting the people who inspired Where Is Basil? and now here we are, working away, laughing the whole time.

Ben hopes Where Is Basil? will provide people with hours of fun and entertainment. He’d love to see a community form around the idea; each person that receives the Fawlty Towers DVD Collection is part of something bigger - who knows who we’ll meet and what we’ll discover. And even if you don’t get on the list you can still participate, watching as the DVD and Basil travel the world!
